Find the GR:B executable (Vulkan or DX) and add it to the list. Another solution is to go into your Nvidia control panel, under the "manage 3d settings" tab, go to "program settings". Most people have had issues with Vulkan, which I cant attest to, its been a flawless experience for me outside of a flickering terrain texture bug that was fixed awhile back. Using Direct X has always given me outrageous CPU temps and horrid framerate issues. Youll get better, more consistent frames that way. As Vulkan offloads most of the work onto the GPU, especially useful if your graphics card is better than your cpu. Honestly my biggest suggestion for you would be to use the Vulkan api. The problem is that most open world games are slightly cpu intensive due to the sheer size of the explorable areas. ![]() Level of Detail and Grass have the biggest cpu impact due to how many objects are loaded in at once, depending on what theyre set to.
